A piece of artwork

Hmmm, what is actually meant by this 3 letters? A.R.T.....I don't actually cant define 'art' in my own word, but I do believe that every piece of an artwork has their own value, and their own meaning behind every scratches or lines and combination of colors drawn on a piece of a canvas. Sebenarnya, saya sendiri tak tahu kenapa tiba-tiba saya bercakap mengenai 'art'. Cuma semasa sedang blogwalking di blog ayah saya, saya agak terkejut dengan beberapa post di dalam blog beliau yang memaparkan lukisan saya dan adik-adik saya. Hmm, agak terkejut pada mulanya kerana tidak menjangkakan ayah kami akan melakukan sedemikian..tetapi, perasaan terharu itu hadir tatkala terdetik di dalam hati bahawa ayah kami amat menghargai lukisan kami (=

The story behind Apple; Steve Jobs



“We don’t get a chance to do that many things, and every one should be really excellent. Because this is our life. Life is brief, and then you die, you know? And we’ve all chosen to do this with our lives. So it better be damn good. It better be worth it.” – Steve job


When Steve Jobs was born February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, California , his unwed mother decided to put him for adoption because she wanted a girl. So in the middle of the night, his mother called a lawyer named Paul Jobs and said, “We have an unexpected baby boy; do you want him?”

His mother felt very strongly that he should be adopted by college graduates and when she found out that both his future parents had never graduated from colleges, she refused to sign the adoption papers. She only relented a few months later when his future parents promised that they would send Jobs to college.

He went to college but decided to drop out because it was too expensive. Recalling his time there he said,

I didn’t have a dorm room, so I slept on the floor in friends’ rooms, I returned coke bottles for the 5¢ deposits to buy food with, and I would walk the 7 miles across town every Sunday night to get one good meal a week at the Hare Krishna temple.


“Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me … Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful… that’s what matters to me.” – Wikiquote, as quoted in The Wall Street Journal (Summer 1993).


At 20, he and a friend (Steve Wozniak) started a company in a garage on April 1, 1976. Later that year, the duo debuted the Apple I at the Homebrew Computer Club in Palo Alto, California. A local store offered to buy 50 machines and to finance the production, the duo had to sell their most expensive possesions. Jobs sold his Volkswagen van while Wozniak sold his Hewlett-Packard scientific calculator.

Jobs named their company – Apple in memory of a happy summer he had spent as an orchard worker in Oregon.

By 1982 however, his company sales sagged in the face of competition from IBM’s new PC. Jobs and Wozniak unveiled their new creation, Lisa to increase the company’s bottom line, only to be another expensive failure.

Not wanting to dwell on these successive failures, they worked on a new machine called the Macintosh. Jobs was reported to commandeered the project, ruthlessly pushing its computer engineers and flying a pirate flag above the building where the team worked.

By 1986 the Mac, which Jobs promised to be ‘insanely great’ was a huge success. After 10 years, starting from 2 kids working in a garage, Apple computer had grown into a $2 billion dollar company with over 4000 employees.

At 30 Jobs, however, was fired from the company he co-founded with Steve Wozniak. He left the company after losing a bitter battle over control with Apple’s CEO John Sculley (whom Jobs had recruited from Pepsi Cola).


Apparently both have different views of how the company should be handled and in one meeting Sculley had told security analysts in a meeting that Jobs would have no role in the operations of the company “now or in the future.” When Jobs heard of the message he said,


“You’ve probably had somebody punch you in the stomach and it knocks the wind out you and you cannot breathe. The harder you try to breathe, the more you cannot breathe. And you know that the only thing you can do is just relax so you can start breathing again.”


Jobs sold over $20 million of his Apple stock, spent days bicycling along the beach, feeling sad and lost, toured Paris, and journeyed on to Italy.

Recalling this publicly heartbreaking episode Jobs said,


‘I didn’t see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.’


During the next five years he started two companies – NeXTStep and Pixar.

NeXTStep which produces NeXT, $9,995 cube-shaped workstation which aimed to create a workstation for research and higher, didn’t do as well as Jobs had dreamed for. It did poorly and Jobs pulled the plug in 1993.

Pixar, however was a success story. The company started the first computer-animated film, the Toy Story and when Pixar’s stock went public, Jobs became an instant billionaire.


Meanwhile, his old company, Apple was under immense pressure from rival Microsoft and in 1996 posted billions of dollars in losses.

In December 1996 Jobs convinced Apple to buy NeXT and make its software the foundation of the next-generation Mac OS. The technology he developed at NeXT became the catalyst of Apple’s comeback. Initially appointed as Apple’s adviser, Steve Jobs was named Apple’s interim CEO in 1997.

In 2004 he was diagnosed with cancer on his pancreas. Jobs was told that the cancer was incurable and he would only live for another three to six months. Later, a biopsy showed that he actually had a very rare form of pancreatic cancer that is curable with surgery. He had the surgery and survives.

Under his leadership, Apple returned to profitability and introduced innovations such as the iPod.





Here's the gist of my story about about Steve Job;

And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma-which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."

A book of tomorrow

On the mountains of truth you will never climb in vain; either you will reach a point higher up today,  or you will be training your powers so that you can climb higher tomorrow.


Like a book author who creates fictional stories to sell their books, you can be a writer too. How to be a writer? Its simple..lets start our imagination and let the imagination run wild. You create your own life, you CREATE your own story.

Imagine  that you're reading a book..you'll never imagine what will happen next before turning over the next page of the book itself..now, your LIFE is your own STORYcreated in the book. You'll never know what will happen tomorrow..(in the future)..but you can just simply imagine it.....common, just use your imagination..


This is what I mean by Book of tomorrow...We'll never know the future, but an imagination is important to create in our mind What we want to make an achievement for the day. Set the target of the day, and try to achieve them. This is really important to create an improvement; that is to make our day better from yestersay and of course, tomorrow will be better that our achievement for today.

Just a simple target.just for example; I will not procrastinate my assignment and today, I'll finish the lab report. It begins with a simple target and now, we need DETERMINATION. From there, we will desicipline ourself to make that target come true.

Lets say you've make a mistake today; you had boken a friend's heart.Now, create your own story for tomorrow; you'll make a sincere apology and mend up the broken relationship with him or her. Dont make the same story for yesterday the same with yesterday. Promise yourself that you'll never break any heart anymore for today (:

Make an improvement of yourself from day to day. Remember, try to learn from the past and dont repeat the same one. Without imagination and determination, there is no incentive of improvement. Those who initiate chance will have a better opportunity to manage the change that is inevitable.

Dont make today the same with the days before. Just think, two days ago I went to the colleage, yesteday I went to the colleage, today I also go to the colleage..and definitely tomorrow, I'll go to the colleage. What is the difference between all the days? Life witout improvement is totally meaningless.

Yeah, sometimes life itself can't be predicted. You've planned saomething, but it didn't turned out to be what you've imagine. Its kinda normal. Dont be bothered by the challanges and just move ahead to the next chapter of book.

Some fictional books include magic, you know..I just bellieve in magic;  they just unexpected and unbellievable things that suddenly happen in my life.......want to feel the magic too??  just bellieve in them,, like I do (;

Bukan sekadar rupa..

Anda kenal gambar di atas??...ya, ini merupakan sebuah rancangan realiti yang dipopularkan oleh TV3 kini. Peserta-peserta yang dipilih untuk memasuki program realiti yang berbentuk nyanyian ini dipilih bedasarkan kelunakan suara mereka tatkala mendendangkan lagu di samping kekuatan vokal yang mereka miliki, bukan bedasarkan paras rupa.

Hmmm, tatkala meneliti gambar-gambar dan wajah-wajah yang terpampang di laman sosial facebook, banyak perkara yang saya terfikir...

Ya, perempuan-perempuan ini sangat cantik....dengan wajah yang mereka miliki, pasti begitu senang untuk menarik pengguna-pengguna facebook yang lain untuk meng'like' gambar-gambar mereka..tetapi, inikah yang sepatutnya mereka lakukan? memaparkan aurat dan ke'gedikan' mereka kepada saudara islam yang bukan muhrim...? atau sengaja memaparkan gambar mereka yang kebanyakannya tidak bercirikan islam untuk mendapat 'like' yang banyak..?


Tidak perlulah saya menceritakan betapa cantiknya mereka...kerana ianya subjektif dan anda sendiri sebenarnya yang memberikan makna kepada perkataan 'cantik' itu sendiri..Jika ditanya apakah makna cantik, pasti yang saya akan peroleh berbeza-beza..tapi, inilah makna CANTIK di mata saya...

seorang yang 'sedap mata' memandang;yakni  sentiasa menjaga auratnya pada pandangan lelaki2 bukan muhrim..tidak semestinya memakai purdah atau memakai tudung labuh, tetapi sekurang-kurangnya berpakaian sopan dan menutup aurat sepenuhnya...dan juga gambarnya bebas daripada dipamerkan di laman-laman sosial untuk menjaga maruahnya  sebagai seorang wanita muslim.

Ini merupakan pendapat saya sebagai seorang yang bergelar wanita...saya amat mengkagumi wanita-wanita yang mempunyai ciri-ciri seperti;

CANTIK; yakni menutup aurat dengan sempurna dan  seperti yang dikatakan tadi; pandai menjaga maruahnya  daripada pandangan lelaki. (eg; tidak memaparkan gambar yang tidak sepatutnya di laman sosial semata-mata untuk mendapatkan perhatian)

tidak suka mengumpat atau mengutuk orang lain  (biasalah, mulut pompuan  memang susah skit nak jaga-.-)

wanita yang menjaga tutur katanya, sopan bicaranya dan  pamdai mengatur ayatnya  (:
 Dapat mengawal dirinya ketika marah (dan ermmm, tak berapa beremosi,hehe)..(;
merdu suaranya; bukan untuk berkaroke yang pasti..(;





Saya amat mengkagumi wanita yang bukan sahaja CANTIK di mata manusia, tetapi juga mempunyai mempunyai ciri-ciri seperti di atas. Perlu sekali saya sematkan dalam diri;

“Dunia itu ialah perhiasan dan sebaik-baik perhiasan ialah wanita yang solehah.” (hadis sahih, riwayat Muslim no. 3628).

What with your subconscious mind?







I've recently learnt about the cranial bones during anatomy lesson. Well, I'm actually interested about the human brain. ( The mechanisms of how our brains are really complexes; and thats actually fascinated me :)


The brain actually possessed some kind of power..do you ever realize that?^____^. Each of us carries within our skulls a three-pound lump of fat and proteins with consistency of jelly that is called BRAIN. Our brain consists of 100 billion neurons that link to one another in a pattern that is more complex and also unique than any other organ in the brain (including our fingerprints).


Now, do you ever heard of the term 'subconscious brain power'? 


Most people don’t know how to direct their subconscious mind so they have more of what they want. Instead, you may be (unknowingly) directing your subconscious to bring more of what you don’t want. Let me explain about how our subconscious mind works;




To understand what your subconscious mind is creating you need to know your beliefs and your regular thoughts. You subconscious mind gets its directions or instructions from your mind, your thoughts, and your beliefs. It is what you believe, what you truly feel is real, how you view life and what you consider to be the truth about your life and the world that our subconscious mind creates.

The basic principle is that whatever your mind can imagine... it can create. How does your mind do this? What your mind thinks, sees, believes, feels is all sent to your subconscious mind -- it's great partner, the real power within you. Your  subconscious mind then works with the universe and creates your reality based on the messages that began in your mind. But its not enough to simply imagine it and then hope it happens. That's not the way it works. If you can imagine it, you can achieve it -- but you need to know how to use the power of your mind and subconscious mind.


Did you know that doctors now firmly believe that 75% of all sickness and disease start in the mind? 75-Percent! That's a very large amount. That means that 75% of all the people who are sick today -- are only sick because they did not know how to use the power of their mind and subconscious mind. Doctors will even tell you that most sickness and disease are caused by stress - which starts in the mind.

Scientists have long said that we only use 10% of our mind power. 10-percent -- that's it. Think of going through life only spending 10-percent of our salary? Could you do it? No! Yet you go through life only using 10% of the power of your mind. That 10-percent is creating 75% of all sickness because we don't even know how to use it properly.

Now imagine if you just used 10% of our mind's power correctly? What would happen? What would happen if we learned to use 90% of our mind's power correctly? Imagine if we could properly direct our subconscious mind? I think,the results would be astounding! ( I haven't try it myself for sure..or else, a new Genius would be born.:)

Our mind is an incredible power -- but no one ever taught you us to use this power. Throughout our entire life, we've been taught how to do everything but no one ever taught us how to use our mind. (I feel that most of the time my brain is used in maximum power JUST during the exam..hmmmm)

In order to create the things we want in life, we must first take control of our own mind. It doesn't matter what else we do. If we don't learn to work with your mind -- nothing else will work. We need to bear this in mind;

NOTHING IS MEANT TO BE. NOTHING IS WRITTEN. WE CREATE EVERYTHING. WE DO THIS WITH THE POWER OF OUR MIND THAT WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE!




Would we drive a car if we didn't know how to drive? No. We would have someone teach us. Why then would we try to use the power of our mind when we don't know how? Yet we do it everyday and we get the results that we don't want. If we want to change our life, if we want to use our mind correctly and utilize all its power, then we need to begin directing the power of our mind and subconscious mind - so that we create the life like the way we want. This means changing our thoughts, creating empowering beliefs, changing the way we see things and training our mind to work differently - so that it send the right message to our subconscious mind and so that we begin to develop the power to create the life we want.




Any negative thoughts that come up with should be removed, or replaced. Change them, get rid of them as quickly as possible. 






Create thoughts that empower us, thoughts that allow us to succeed and enjoy our life. Negative thoughts and negative beliefs may create a negative life. They might destroy any chance of success. 






We cannot succeed and enjoy life with chronic negative thinking. Remember, our subconscious mind follows our thoughts and beliefs. It sees them as instructions and simply follows them. 

Our subconscious mind can be your great partner in success, when we give it the right instructions. 
We actually have powers...Lets try to use them! (=

Sekadar renungan; 7 lapisan neraka

 Saya pernah terfikir, bagaimanakah keadaannya apabila di neraka kelak? *just one of my random thoughts..Nauzubillah, saya sendiri tidak mampu untuk membayangkangkannya..Namun begitu, kita sebagai manusia sentiasa harus bersiap sedia sebelum ajal menjemput tiba..sesekali kita beringat, sesekali kita terlupa..itulah permainan dunia..

Disebabkan itulah kita harus sentiasa diingatkan agar tidak terus leka; terus hanyut dengan godaan dunia sehingga terlupa matlamat yang hakiki, yakni untuk hidup di akhirat sana..

Saya hanya ingin berkongsi sedikit ilmu yang dibaca..pernahkan anda membayangkan betapa luasnya NERAKA?

Nabi Muhammad SAW pernah bersabda;

"Ya Jibrail, jelaskan padaku sifat Jahannam."


 Jawab malaikat Jibrail:


 "Ya. Ketika Allah menjadikan Jahannam, maka dinyalakan selama seribu tahun, sehingga merah, kemudian dilanjutkan seribu tahun sehingga putih, kemudian seribu tahun sehingga hitam, maka ia hitam gelap, tidak pernah padam nyala dan baranya. Demi Allah yg mengutus engkau dengan hak, andaikan terbuka sebesar lubang jarum nescaya akan dapat membakar penduduk dunia semuanya kerana panasnya. Demi Allah yang mengutus engkau dengan hak, andaikan satu baju ahli neraka itu digantung di antara langit dan bumi nescaya akan mati penduduk bumi kerana panas dan basinya. Demi Allah yang mengutus engkau dengan hak, andaikan satu pergelangan dari rantai yg disebut dalam Al-Quran itu diletakkan di atas bukit, nescaya akan cair sampai ke bawah bumi yg ke tujuh. Demi Allah yang mengutus engkau dengan hak, andaikan seorang dihujung barat tersiksa, nescaya akan terbakar orang-orang yang di hujung timur kerana sangat panasnya, Jahannam itu sangat dalam dan perhiasannya besi,dan minumannya air panas campur nanah, dan pakaiannya potongan-potongan api. Api neraka itu ada tujuh pintu, tiap-tiap pintu ada bahagiannya yang tertentu dari orang laki-laki dan perempuan." 



Nabi s.a.w. bertanya:
 "Apakah pintu-pintunya bagaikan pintu-pinturumah kami?"

Jawab Jibrail:
 "Tidak, tetapi selalu terbuka, setengahnya dibawah dari lainnya, dari pintu ke pintu jarak perjalanan 70,000 tahun,tiap pintu lebih panas dari yang lain 70 kali ganda." 

Tanya Rasulullah s.a.w.: 
"Siapakah penduduk masing-masing pintu?" 

Jawab Jibrail: 
"Pintu yg terbawah untuk orang-orang munafik, dan orang-orang yg kafir setelah diturunkan hidangan mukjizat nabi Isa a.s. serta keluarga Fir'aun sedang namanya Al-Hawiyah. 
Pintu kedua tempat orang-orang musyrikin bernama Jahim, 
Pintu ketiga tempat orang shobi'in bernama Saqar. 
Pintu ke empat tempat Iblis dan pengikutnya dari kaum majusi bernama Ladha, 
Pintu kelima orang yahudi bernama Huthomah. 
Pintu ke enam tempat orang nasara bernama Sa'eir." 

Kemudian Jibrail diam segan pada Rasulullah s.a.w. sehingga ditanya:
 "Mengapa tidak kau terangkan penduduk pintu ke tujuh?" 

Jawabnya:
 "Di dalamnya orang-orang yg berdosa besar dari ummatmu yg sampai mati belum sempat bertaubat." 

Maka nabi s.a.w. jatuh pingsan ketika mendengar keterangan itu,sehingga Jibrail meletakkan kepala nabi s.a.w. di pangkuannya sehingga sedar kembali dan sesudah sedar.

nabi saw bersabda: "Ya Jibrail, sungguh besar kerisauanku dan sangat sedihku, apakah ada seorang dari ummatku yang akan masuk ke dalam neraka?"

 Jawabnya: 
"Ya, iaitu orang yg berdosa besar dari ummatmu." 

Kemudian nabi s.a.w. menangis, Jibrail juga menangis, kemudian nabi s.a.w. masuk ke dalam rumahnya dan tidak keluar kecuali untuk sembahyang kemudian kembali dan tidak berbicara dengan orang dan bila sembahyang baginda menangis dan minta kepada Allah.

Dari Hadith Qudsi:
 Bagaimana kamu masih boleh melakukan maksiat sedangkan kamu tak dapat bertahan dengan panasnya terik matahari Ku. Tahukah kamu bahawa neraka jahanamKu itu: 

1. Neraka Jahanam itu mempunyai 7 tingkat 
2. Setiap tingkat mempunyai 70,000 daerah 
3. Setiap daerah mempunyai 70,000 kampung 
4. Setiap kampung mempunyai 70,000 rumah 
5. Setiap rumah mempunyai 70,000 bilik 
6. Setiap bilik mempunyai 70,000 kotak 
7. Setiap kotak mempunyai 70,000 batang pokok zarqum 
8. Di bawah setiap pokok zarqum mempunyai 70,000 ekor ular 
9. Di dalam mulut setiap ular yang panjang 70 hasta mengandungi lautan racun yang hitam pekat. 
10. Juga di bawah setiap pokok zarqum mempunyai 70,000 rantai 
11. Setiap rantai diseret oleh 70,000 malaikat 


Al-Quran Surah Al- Baqarah (Ayat 159):

" Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang menyembunyikan apa yang telah Kami turunkan dari keterangan-keterangan dan petunjuk hidayat, sesudah Kami terangkannya kepada manusia di dalam Kitab Suci, mereka itu dilaknat oleh Allah dan dilaknat oleh sekalian makhluk."

Mudah-mudahan dapat menimbulkan keinsafan kepada kita semua terutamanya diri saya sendiri. Wallahua'lam. 

Manners, please!

This is what our heart looks like..

Yeah, it is one of the wonderful creation in our body, isn'it? (well, of course the picture shown is not really a figure of how our heart looks like because medically speaking;our jantung doesn't look like that ;)

We have a lot of malay proverbs and sayings that are closely related to our HEART (like suka HATI, patah HATI, ect) if you can recall back what you've learnt during Bahasa Melayu lessons in high school. (I can barely remember most of them, actually..hehe)..lets try this; makan hati? you should know the meaning, right? ;)

MAKAN HATI..Well, I'm not really sure weather it is one of the simpulan bahasa or just a bahasa pasar widely used in our society..let me ask you this, how often do you makan hati with the people surrounding you or in other words, feeling OFFENDED?? 

I dare to say that most of the makan hati situation happened because of the what the other's DO and TALK. It because of the ACTIONS and WORDS; because what do the others did and say will be perfectly digested  in our heart and of course; some of them will certainly scratch the heart and leave a wounded scar.

This is because of our MANNERS; which most of our urban, modern-styled people today are lacking. We tend to forgot the courtesy of the traditional MALAY people; the budi bahasa that is perfectly blended with sopan-santun which will certainly portrayed a perfect malay tradition.

The lacking of manners can be widely seen nowdays;

Which one would you choose to hear, 'woi Siti, amekkan buku tue!' or 'Siti, boleh tolong ambilkan buku tu tak? terima kasih'..You have your ears to listen, so do your brain to judge. So, choose.


Sometimes, we sincerely helped our friends without expecting any kind of reward...nevertheless, we should at least deserve a kind word of 'THANK YOU',right? It'll be a little bit upsetting not to hear the word for at least a tiny mark for appreciation..

The word THANK YOU will sincerely shows our gratitude and appreciation. It will just take less than a second to force these two words to come out of the throat. However, why is it so hard for some of the people to say that? it it because of PRIDE or what?

Think of the small little actions in your life..do you say 'thank you' to the pakcik that give you the balance of your payment at the stall? do you say 'thank you' when your friend help you to pick just a book?do you say 'thank you' when your parents give you some pocket money before you go to school everyday? and do you ever think how many 'terima kasih' have you ever said to your beloved mama and papa after all the things they had done in your life?Come on, people.Just think about it. Your manners will overcome EVERYTHING and reflects WHO YOU ARE.. (nothing to be proud of when a person have everything;with the perfect looks and great wealth........but with almost no manners -.-). 

Just be careful with what that comes out of mouth. Dont just simply cakap lepas or else, many people will get offended or makan hati. Approach people with very nice greetings like assalamualaikum or simply by saying hai instead of woiii!..TRAIN your tongue from now on to say BASIC words like 'I'm sorry', 'Excuse Me' and 'Thank You' and learn to be more sincere besides showing appropriate manners toward the others.

Bandar Seri Begawan



hmm, anda boleh teka di manakah terletaknya Bandar Seri Begawan?


Nak dipendekkan cerita, Bandar Seri Begawan merupakan ibu negeri negara Brunei Darussalam, dan alhamdulillah aku berkesempatan untuk ke sana pada cuti baru-baru ini(;..( sebelum nie, tak pernah tau pon Bandar Seri Begawan tu ibu negara Brunei.huhu)

Untuk melihat kedudukan kota ini, anda boleh merujuk peta di atas .Lets go straight to the story...perjalananku bermula dari kota Miri, Sarawak ke Bandar Seri Begawan yang memakan masa hanya dua jam lebih..memandagkan aku tido during almost half of the journey, so memanglah tak terasa lama sangat-.-'...katibaan kami sekeluarga disambut oleh seorang rakan ayahku, Michael..memandangkan hari sudah gelap dan sudah masuknya waktu maghrib, kami hanya terus check in di hotel dan unpack barang-barang sebelum menyiapkan diri untuk keluar makan malam  bersama-sama beberapa orang rakan ayahku yang lain.


Two of them are doctors who are working in Brunei..and the other are from a drug company working with the hospital. (p/s; malam tu aku makan rasanya sampai perut nak pecah..love the tom yam!^__^)


Pada keesokan harinya, penjelajahan ke ibu kota Brunei Darussalam ini bermula...jika ditinjau di jalan raya, boleh dikatakan agak sukar untuk anda melihat sebarang motorsikal di sini. Harga kereta di sini, teramatlah murah disebabkan tiada cukai yang dikenakan untuk pembelian kereta. Orang yang membawa kami di Brunei mengatakan bahawa setiap dewasa WAJIB mempunyai sebuah kereta..and I can see at most houses that they have average three or four cars parked at their garage >.< ) Namun begitu, kesesakan lalu lintas jarang-jarang berlaku ,mungkin disebabkan penduduk ibu kota mereka yang tidak begitu ramai..

Apa yang dapat aku simpulkan ialah bandar ini boleh dilabelkan sebagai a simple city..sejujurnya, tidak banyak tempat yang boleh dilawati..daripada apa yang diberitahu, penduduk Sarawak jarang-jarang datang ke Brunei disebabkan pertukaran matawang atau currency mereka yang lebih tinggi berbanding Malaysia....ermm, lebih kurang macam pergi Singapore..harga barang-barang yang dijual agak mahal......sejujurnya, aku agak terkejut sebab expect ibu kota negara kaya sebegini cara hidupnya lebih kurang dengan Kuala Lumpur,,but it is not what i'd imagined..ibu kotanya tidak begitu sesak dan tidak banyak bangunan pencakar langit atau super-big kompleks beli-belah yang anda boleh lihat di sekitar bandar..

Masjid Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin..keindahan masjid ini melambangkan kekuatan agama Islam sebagai agama rasmi di negara tersebut ;)
Walaupun tidak banyak tempat menarik yang boleh dilawati, aku tetap teruja kerana dapat pergi ke beberapa tempat seperti museum dan galleri yang terletak di tengah-tengah kota..tidak lupa juga kampung air  :D

Transformers


Cool tak robot transformers nie??boleh bertukar-tukar bentuk..kejap-kejap jadi kereta, kejap-kejap jadi robot..(p/s; minat sikit-sikit jer cerita transformers)

Okay, saya bukan nak bercerita pasal transformers di sini..(maaf ya, peminat-peminat transformers yang expect saya untuk bercerita atau membuat review mengenai filem transformers..anda boleh membacanya di page lain :-)

Kenapa saya mengatakan bahawa robot ini cool? seperti yang dikatakan tadi, robot ini boleh transform atau menukar dirinya dengan mudahnya..tidak seperti manusia, we need more than that to change, or in other word; transform.


"Kau nie bukannya baik sangat aku tengok, dua kali lima aku jer aku tengok..pehal tiba-tiba jadi baik nie? tolonglahh..(buat muka menyampah).."


Kata-kata masyarakat sekeliling seperti di atas (biasanya rakan-rakan) seringkali menjadi tembok batu besar yang menghalang seseorang untuk mengubah dirinya kepada seseorang yang lebih baik..tidak seperti robot di atas yang boleh menukar rupa bentuknya bila-bila masa sahaja; we need need a lot courage and a thing called   'determination'.


It's time to change your mind then...


Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better.




Hanya dengan keazaman atau determination yang tinggi, istiqamah itu boleh dicapai..yang penting, sesuatu perubahan itu haruslah menuju ke arah kebaikan berlandaskan iman. Firman Allah;


“Sesungguhnya Allah tidak akan mengubah nasib suatu kaum kecuali kaum itu sendiri yang mengubah apa apa yang pada diri mereka ” QS 13:11



Islam amat menuntut umatnya untuk berhirah; yakni berhijrah daripada keburukan kepada kebaikan. Berdoalah agar perubahan yang hendak dilakukan itu mendapat petunjuk dan dipermudahkan urusannya oleh Allah :)

They just need less than a minute to change themselves..(kalau tak silap..errrr, dah lama tak tengok power rangers :)..now, ITS YOUR TURN! Change your mind and be a superb like them (=

how much sincerity do you have?

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.With the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Gracious.

Alhamdulillah, aku telah selamat berdaftar di kolej sebagai salah seorang pelajar perubatan tahun pertama. Sedar tak sedar, angan-anganku kini untuk menjadi seorang pelajar perubatan telah menjadi satu kenyataan. Syukur ke hadrat Illahi kerana semua ini adalah takdir yang ditentukan olehNya..manusia hanya mampu merancang, tapi Dialah yang menentukan segala-galanya..aku sedar, ini adalah satu permulaan..ini hanyalah langkah pertama yang akan membawaku jauh menuju jalan yang belum pasti arahnya di masa akan datang..

Getting into what we called 'MBBS' is not merely by changing the fb status from 'study at centre of foundation study' to ' mbbs at management and science university' like most of my friends excitedly did in their fb account. yeah, i think a lot, 'what's so great about getting into mbbs program?'

Pada pendapat aku, menetapkan dan memperbetulkan niat itu adalah penting.

Daripada Amirul Mukminin Abu Hafs, Umar Bin Al-Khattab r.a katanya ; " Aku mendengar Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda : " Bahawasanya segala amalan itu adalah dengan niat dan setiap orang mendapat balasan berdasarkan apa yang dia niatkan"

Kata-kata seorang guru sewaktu di tingkatan 3 masih lagi aku ingat. Kata-kata beliaulah yang menyebabkan terlintas di dalam benak fikiranku bahawa the best doctor is a person who just not being an ordinary doctor, but a special one who strongly standing behind her religion(islam) with a strong iman in her heart. 




A doctor without iman in his/ heart just like a heavy and beautiful box, without anything useful inside it. The important thing about being a doctor is the usage of your skills and knowledge to treat the patient in order to contribute to our society.and what we need here is a word called 'sincerity'.

Sincerity only comes from a pure heart.The best sincerity that I can define is the sincerity for doing a job only to get His blessings (lillahi taa la). To be a good muslim doctor, YESS, u need that kind of sincerity.

Melihat kepada perspektif kerjaya seorang doktor itu sendiri, 'on call' dan kerja sehingga lewat malam sudah menjadi norma.jika hendak dibandingkan dengan kerjaya lain, I cant deny doctor is one of the most toughest jobs. Disebabkan itulah niat itu perlu diperbetulkan. If your true intention is all about being rich, then just dont be a one.There's so many careers out there you can choose without such stressful life in the drugs-smelled environment, with the sick people with their weary faces and not to forget, the 'on call' moment where you have to force your eyes to open throughout the nights when the others are having their sweet dreams on their bed. You can choose other careers; with just 3 or 4 years to graduate (compared to the doctors;5 years),with less stressful life in the university with more chance to enjoy yourself as a 'student'. You can be a pilot; with just 3 years of training with just average result of exam (dont need to obtain 4.00 credit) and the salary is well of course...much much greater than the Doctors..

So, what's wrong with all these people cracking their brain out for 5 years studying MBBS? this is not included the time they need to spend  during the wee hours of the morning running here and there in the hospital in the emergency unit? and not to mention the average salary treated for the government doctors?  Well,this is when the 'sincerity' is greatly needed.

This is just an opinion based on my observation. If money that you want, yes, you can be a rich doctor ( a doctor can also makes a huge sum of money, you know). But it really depends on your intention; if you are sincere (in terms of what i've said above); I believe that you will get both; the Duniya' and the Akhirat(insyaallah)..that's what I believe for right now.

Nilai sebuah nasihat

Sebelum itu, penulisan ini hanyalah untuk meluahkan pendapat dan mencurahkan isi yang dipendam di dalam lubuk hati ini..bukan dengan niat menyindir atau mengutuk sesiapa..mereka yang membaca, di harapkan dapat memberikan pandangan atau memberi ‘feedback’ agar sama-sama dapat berkongsi pendapat..



Cerita bermula dengan perbuatan seorang si A yang cuba menegur seorang rakannya.Apa yang ditegur semuanya betul, hanya dengan niat untuk memberitahu si jejaka ini untuk menghentikan satu perbuatan yang dianggap buruk baginya. Teguran dinyatakan secara jelas dan baik, tetapi, apa yang diperoleh balik hanyalah balasan sinis daripada si jejaka tersebut. Bukan sahaja teguran tersebut tidak dapat diterima, malah turut diberitahu dan disebarkan kepada beberapa orang rakan lain yang turut melakukan perbuatan ‘buruk’ yang sama.

"Sesungguhnya antara hak-hak seorang muslim ke atas muslim yang lain ialah menasihatnya (jujur dan berbuat baik kepadanya) apabila dia tiada bersama.”

Perbuatan si A tidak berjaya mengubah apa-apa, kerana hanya yang diperoleh adalah perasaan benci oleh mereka yang terasa dengan teguran tersebut. Orang yang ditegur tetap mengendahkan nasihat  yang diberi dan tetap dengan perbuatannya.

Salahkah kita untuk menegur perbuatan rakan yang sudah terang lagi bersuluh adalah perbuatan yang salah? Saya mengkagumi perbuatan si A yang berani menegur atas dasar persahabatan untuk mengubah tabiat rakannya yang menjelikkan ramai orang (tetapi orang lain tidak berani untuk menegur). Walaupun perbuatannya itu hanya mendapat cacian dan mengundang kebencian daripada mereka yang terasa ( dan semestinya melakukan kesalahan), pada pendapat saya, tidak rugi untuk hilang seorang rakan yang tidak mahu mendegar nasihat rakan yang lain untuk mengubahnya ke arah yang lebih baik.

Yang mana anda akan pilih, menegur seorang rakan yang sudah ternyata salahnya sehingga musnah hubungan persahahabatan dengan orang tersebut, atau bersikap ‘tidak masuk campur’ dan menunggu apa kesudahannya? Mungkin anda akan menjawab ‘cuba tegur dia..tapi lantak dia lah nak terima ke tak..’.

Saya tidak boleh mengakukui ada daripada kita yang hanya ‘pejam mata’ sahaja dengan tingkah laku rakan rapat walaupun mengetahui perbuatannya salah. ‘Cuba tegur dia..tapi lantak dial ah nak terima ke tak..’?? walaupun hanya seperti perbuatan yang mudah, tapi percayalah, amat sukar untuk melakukannya kerana ia mungkin menjadi titik permulaan kepada keretakan hubungan persahabatan anda. (terutamanya orang yang hendak ditegur merupakan rakan rapat anda)

Sememangnya, manusia sememangnya mempunyai ego yang sangat tinggi untuk sukar menerima kritkan orang lain terhadap kita..saya tidak boleh menafikan itu kerana saya sendiri kadangkala sukar menerima kritikan orang lain. Ya, kita memang akan merasakan bahawa diri sendiri yang betul dan orang lain yang salah. Lihat sahajalah di ujibakat AF atau program realiti lain, pasti ada yang mengutuk dan membalas kritikan juri kerana mereka tidak terpilih selepas  dikritik tentang kekurangan mereka dalam nyanyian. Disebabkan itulah, saya merasakan bahawa mereka yang sanggup menerima kekurangan diri dan sanggup dikritik merupakan mereka yang benar-benar hebat.

 “Diriwayatkan daripada Tamim ad-Dari r. a. bahawa nabi Muhammad SAW bersabda : ‘Agama adalah nasihat’. Baginda mengulanginya sebanyak 3 kali. Kami pun bertanya : ‘Untuk siapakah wahai Rasulullah?’ Jawab baginda : ‘Untuk ALLAH, KitabNya, RasulNya, pemerintah-pemerintah orang Islam dan orang awam Islam.”
(Hadith riwayat Muslim)


*marilah kita sama-sama saling menasihati ke arah kebaikan..dan ingatlah, mencegah dengan hati itu adalah selemah-lemah iman;)
